Chennai, Aug 31:
The Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) will conduct consumer grievance meetings in four Chennai divisions on September 1, giving residents an opportunity to directly submit complaints concerning power supply and other electricity-related services.
The meetings will be held at 11 am in the Mylapore, Ambattur, Tondiarpet and KK Nagar divisions.
In Mylapore, the meeting will be held at the Executive Engineer (Operation and Maintenance) office at the 110 kV Valluvar Kottam substation on MGR Road, near the Metro Water station.
The Ambattur meeting will take place at the Executive Engineer (O&M) office on Third Main Road, at the substation premises in Ambattur Industrial Estate.
In Tondiarpet, consumers can submit their grievances at the Executive Engineer (O&M) office at 805, TH Road, opposite the clock tower.
The KK Nagar meeting will be held at the Executive Engineer (O&M) division office on the second floor of the 110 kV KK Nagar substation premises on Anna Main Road.
Residents can use the meetings to raise complaints relating to power supply, service connections and other electricity-related issues and seek appropriate action from officials.
Senior officials from the Chennai Central, West, South and North distribution circles have appealed to consumers to make use of the grievance meetings and submit their complaints directly to the authorities.
The meetings are part of TNPDCL’s consumer grievance-redressal mechanism, through which unresolved local-level electricity issues can be brought to the attention of senior officials.
Consumers facing persistent problems with power supply or other distribution services have been urged to attend the meetings and provide the necessary details to facilitate early action.
