The first look of veteran actor MS Bhaskar’s upcoming crime thriller Vidiyum Kaathiru has been unveiled, generating interest with its intriguing mystery-filled visuals.
Produced by PM Ravichandran under Friends Production House, the film marks the directorial debut of R. Aravind Rajan, who has previously been part of story discussions for films by directors Bala and Mysskin.
MS Bhaskar plays the lead, with Amjadha Sherin in a prominent female role. Gopi Ayothi, Baby Srijitha and Rakesh are also part of the cast.
The story revolves around two police officers who enter a house following a murder and encounter a series of supernatural incidents. The makers have described the film as a gripping crime thriller with elements designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The first-look poster features a frightened MS Bhaskar seen through an enlarged keyhole, while the words “You Are Next” on the door add to the film’s mystery.
C. Sathya is composing the music, while G. Dhamodharan handles both cinematography and editing. Metro Mahesh is choreographing the action sequences, with Rajan Vazhi Vidan handling the art direction.
The film has been shot entirely in Chennai and surrounding areas. Post-production work is currently underway, with the release date expected to be announced soon. Uthra Productions’ C. Hari Uthra will release the film across Tamil Nadu.
