Chennai, Sept 10:
The School Education Department has announced the schedule for the quarterly examinations for students of Classes 1 to 12 in government and government-aided schools across Tamil Nadu.
According to the schedule, examinations for Classes 3 to 10 will begin on September 16 and conclude on September 24. For Classes 11 and 12, the examinations will also begin on September 16 but will continue until September 25.
For students of Classes 1 and 2, the quarterly examinations will begin on September 17 and conclude on September 24.
The School Education Directorate issued the examination schedule on Wednesday, covering all classes from primary to higher secondary levels.
Following the examinations, quarterly vacation has been announced from September 25 to October 4. Students are expected to return to school after the vacation on October 5.
The announcement provides schools, students and parents with clarity on the examination and vacation schedule and enables schools to complete the examinations within the stipulated period.
