The makers of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming film #L370 have warned the public against fake audition posters, messages and calls being circulated in the name of the film. Director Jude Anthany Joseph clarified that the team has not authorised or announced any auditions or casting requirements.
Jude urged aspiring actors and the public not to share personal information or documents, or make any payments in response to such calls. He also asked people to depend only on verified and authorised channels for any official casting announcements.
The warning comes shortly after Mohanlal announced his reunion with producer Ashiq Usman for #L370, with Jude Anthany Joseph directing the project. Mohanlal had expressed his excitement about teaming up with Usman again, this time under Jude’s direction.
Very little is known about #L370 at present, though industry sources have described it as a colourful entertainer. Jude’s previous film was Thudakkam, which marked the acting debut of Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya Mohanlal.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal also has Athimanoharam, directed by Tharun Moorthy, in the pipeline. The film features Meera Jasmine as the female lead, with Mohanlal playing police officer T S Lovelajan.
