The second shooting schedule of actor Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming Tamil film Seyon has been completed, with the makers sharing a behind-the-scenes video offering glimpses of the characters.
Raaj Kamal Films International, the production banner headed by Kamal Haasan, announced the schedule wrap on Friday. The production house described the development as the completion of the second stage in the film’s “victorious journey of valour”.
Seyon is directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, who made his directorial debut with Thaai Kizhavi. The project marks another collaboration between Sivakumar and Sivakarthikeyan, who had earlier worked together on Thaai Kizhavi. It also reunites Sivakarthikeyan with Kamal Haasan after their successful association on Amaran.
The film has an ensemble cast featuring Bhagyashri Borse, Raj B Shetty and Seeman in important roles. Bala Saravanan, Singampuli and Aruldoss are also part of the cast.
The makers have maintained secrecy about the film’s storyline. However, a recently released glimpse has generated curiosity by showing people in a village treating Sivakarthikeyan’s character as a god, hinting at an unusual premise.
The technical team includes music composer Santhosh Narayanan, action choreographers Anbariv, cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, editor San Lokesh and production designer Arun Venjaramoodu.
The first schedule of the film was completed in June, while the second phase has now been wrapped. The makers are expected to reveal more details about the project as production progresses.
Seyon is produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner.
