Chennai,  Sept 15:

VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan has criticised DMK functionaries, including MP A Raja, for using abusive language against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay and Law Minister C T Nirmal Kumar during a recent party protest.
Thirumavalavan said such language was unacceptable in political discourse and advised DMK president M K Stalin to publicly condemn the trend. He warned that the remarks could create a negative perception of the DMK among the people and would not merely affect the TVK.
His remarks come amid growing political friction between the DMK and the ruling TVK, with the two sides trading sharp attacks over Vijay’s Assembly remarks and the MISA controversy. Thirumavalavan, whose VCK is supporting the TVK in the upcoming by-elections, said political differences should not be allowed to descend into personal or abusive attacks.
