Actors Samuthirakani and M Sasikumar are set to reunite for the upcoming film School Bus, which is being directed by Samuthirakani. The two, who share a long-standing friendship and have collaborated on several projects, are coming together again in the new film.
School Bus also features Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep and filmmaker-actor Mysskin in important roles. While announcements about the film have already been made in Kannada and Telugu, a grand official announcement regarding its Tamil version is expected soon.
The reunion comes shortly after the duo received recognition at the SIIMA 2026 awards. Sasikumar won an award for Tourist Family, while Samuthirakani was honoured in the Best Supporting Actor (Tamil) category for Kantara.
Samuthirakani is directing and acting in School Bus, with the inclusion of Sasikumar, Sudeep and Mysskin adding to the interest surrounding the project. Details about the storyline, technical crew and release plans are expected to be revealed with the Tamil announcement.
