Actor Jeevan, known for his roles in Kaakha Kaakha and Naan Avan Illai, has joined the cast of Lover Boy, starring Arjith Shankar and Krithi Shetty. The film is directed by debutant Ashok and produced by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios in association with KVN Productions.
The makers announced Jeevan’s inclusion with a video from the sets. His return has generated interest among fans who remember his distinctive screen presence and roles in films such as Kaakha Kaakha, Naan Avan Illai and Thotta. Jeevan was last seen in the 2024 film Pambattam, in which he played dual roles.
Details about Jeevan’s character in Lover Boy are being kept under wraps. The film marks the acting debut of Arjith Shankar, son of filmmaker S Shankar, while Krithi Shetty plays the female lead. Ashok, a former associate of filmmaker Atlee, is making his directorial debut with the project.
The film has music by Thejas Krishna, cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar, editing by R Kalaivanan and art direction by S Jayachandran. Production began in June, and further details about the film and its characters are expected to be announced by the makers.
