Young actor LK Akshay Kumar, who impressed audiences with Sirai, has begun shooting for his next film, a crime drama directed by debutant Vishnu Amaran.
Produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studio, the film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Chethan. Vishnu Amaran has earlier worked as an assistant director with H. Vinoth on films including Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai and Jana Nayagan.
Saravanan Ramasamy handles cinematography, Hesham Abdul Wahab composes the music and Kalaivanan R edits the film. The shoot will take place in Chennai, Kodaikanal and Kolkata.
Akshay Kumar, who played contrasting roles in Sirai and Raavadi, is set to explore another different character in this crime drama.
