Vijay Antony’s upcoming film Appa Kutty will release in theatres on October 16. The film is directed by Mu Maran, who last helmed GV Prakash’s Blackmail.
Lithanya, who played young Viji in Jana Nayagan, stars alongside Vijay Antony. The film is titled Nanna Kutty in Telugu. Though the plot is yet to be revealed, the film is expected to be a thriller centred on the emotional bond between a father and daughter.
The cast also includes Preethi Asrani, Bagavathi Perumal, Muthu Kumar, Jenson Dhivakar, Aruvi Madhan, Chithra Lakshmanan, Muruganantham, Praveena, Haripriya Isai and Lizzie Antony. Mu Maran and Puthiya Parithi have penned the dialogues, while Rajeev Rajendran handles cinematography and A Raja the production design. Rajasekar is the action director.
Vijay Antony was last seen in an extended appearance in Sasi’s Nooru Saami. Appa Kutty is now gearing up for its October 16 theatrical release.
