Mumbai, Sept 25:
Mumbai Indians have appointed Luke Williams as their new head coach ahead of the 2027 Women’s Premier League season, replacing Lisa Keightley.
Keightley, who took charge in September 2025, has decided to move on after Mumbai Indians finished fourth in the five-team tournament in 2026. The franchise had won the WPL titles in 2023 and 2025.
Williams was the head coach of Royal Challengers Bengaluru when they won their maiden WPL title in 2025. He has also worked with Southern Brave in The Hundred and Adelaide Strikers in the Women’s Big Bash League.
