Kyiv, Sept 29:
Russia launched another wave of drone attacks on Ukraine, with explosions reported in Kyiv and damage caused to buildings in the capital.
A Russian jet-powered drone strike on September 28 hit the National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv, with reports saying at least two people were killed. Ukrainian authorities have continued to report Russian attacks on several areas of the country.
The latest strikes come as the Russia-Ukraine conflict continues with attacks on infrastructure and military targets on both sides. Ukraine has also carried out drone attacks inside Russia, with Russian officials reporting strikes on an oil refinery and a passenger train in earlier attacks.
