Sigma, the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, has completed its censorship formalities and received a U/A 16+ certificate from the CBFC. The film, starring Sundeep Kishan, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2.
According to the CBFC certification details, the film has a runtime of around 2 hours and 20 minutes. Produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, Sigma was earlier scheduled for release on July 31.
The film also stars Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee and Sheela Rajkumar. The technical crew includes composer Thaman S, cinematographer Krishnan Vasant and editor Praveen KL.
Billed as an action entertainer, Sigma reportedly revolves around gambling, drugs and a high-stakes heist, with elements of comedy.
