Director Venkat Prabhu is set to begin work on the third instalment of his popular Chennai 600028 franchise. The film’s first schedule is planned to begin in Chennai in the first week of October.
A special set is being erected in Chennai, where the first schedule is expected to be shot for around 10 days. The team is then planning to continue the second schedule in Bangkok.
The original Chennai 600028 was released in 2007, followed by Chennai 600028 II in 2016. Both films revolved around friendship, cricket and comedy. Details about the cast and other members of the third part are yet to be announced.
