Khushbu backs Janhvi Kapoor over AI-morphed video

Actress and politician Khushbu Sundar has extended her support to Janhvi Kapoor after an AI-morphed video featuring the actress from the Devara song Chuttamalle sparked concerns over the misuse of technology.

Condemning the circulation of the video, Khushbu said such content was “cruel, abusive and deeply shameful” and warned against normalising the use of AI to attack a woman’s dignity and reputation. She stressed that a woman’s body should never be treated as content or entertainment.

Khushbu also called for those who create, knowingly share or promote such material to be held accountable and face consequences. “When one woman’s dignity is attacked, every woman has a reason to stand up and speak out,” she said.

Concluding her message, Khushbu expressed solidarity with Janhvi, writing, “I stand with you #JanhviKapoor. Stay strong bachcha.” Actors Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda and Chiranjeevi have also condemned the misuse of AI to create and circulate fake videos.
