The long-delayed Tamil film Titanic, starring Kalaiyarasan and Anandhi in the lead roles, is set to hit theatres on October 16. Written and directed by M Janakiraman, the film began production in 2016 and has faced multiple postponements.
The film was initially scheduled for release on May 6, 2022, before being postponed to July 18, 2025. It is now finally set to reach theatres this week. CV Kumar has produced the film under the banner of Thirukumaran Entertainment.
The supporting cast includes Kaali Venkat, Madhumitha, Ashna Zaveri, Ragav Vijay, Chetan and Devadarshini, while Gayathrie makes a cameo appearance.
Nivas K Prasanna has composed the music, with Ballu handling cinematography and Radhakrishnan Dhanapal taking charge of editing. Ram Prasad is the art director, Ignatious Aswin the stunt choreographer and Sandy the choreographer.
