Actor Arya’s 40th film as a lead has been titled Hello Kadhal. The romantic comedy, directed by Nikhil Muraly, is scheduled for theatrical release on December 4.
The film stars Nikhila Vimal and Vaishnavi Chaitanya opposite Arya. It will also be released in Telugu under the title Hello Prema.
Nikhil Muraly previously directed the Malayalam film Pranaya Vilasam (2023), which featured Arjun Ashokan, Mamitha Baiju and Anaswara Rajan. For Hello Kadhal, he has reunited with writers Sunu AV and Jyothish M, who worked with him on his earlier film. Filmmaker Halitha Shameem has contributed additional screenplay and Tamil dialogues.
The technical crew includes composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Jeeva Sankar, editor Binu Nepolean and stunt choreographer Stunt Silva. GV Prakash has previously worked with Arya on films such as Madrasapattinam and Raja Rani.
The film is produced by The Show People and Silver Grain Pictures. Arya’s releases this year include Mr X and Ananthan Kaadu. He is also set to appear in director Pa Ranjith’s upcoming film Vettuvam.
