A 24-hour air-conditioned lounge is set to come up in Perambur to provide gig workers with a place to rest between assignments.
The facility is expected to benefit delivery personnel, including those working for food delivery and e-commerce platforms, who often spend long hours on the road while waiting for their next booking.
