Chennai,  Oct 30:
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has launched a new range of 5.9-litre instant water heaters with a 3kW heating element, anti-scale technology and four-level safety protection.
Launched in Mumbai on October 26, the water heaters offer around 40 per cent faster heating and 18 per cent higher hot water capacity. The anti-scale technology is designed to protect the heating element from deposits in hard water with hardness levels of up to 1,000 PPM.
The heaters feature a food-grade stainless-steel tank and a pressure rating of 6.5 bar, making them suitable for high-rise buildings. Safety features include an auto thermostat, thermal cut-out, pressure safety valve and fire safety protection.
The compact, wall-mounted models come with LED indicators and a five-year warranty on the tank. The heating element and the product carry two-year warranties.
