“Life is beautiful. Until we stop breathing, nothing is over, nothing is lost and everything can be set right,” said actor Suriya at the audio and trailer launch of his upcoming film Scene, directed by Jithu Madhavan.
Speaking at the Chennai event, Suriya said his priorities had changed after crossing 50. “At 20, we want a job; at 25, we want money; at 30, we want to buy a house. But now, what I seek is peace of mind and good health. These two are what truly matter,” he said.
“Until we stop breathing, everything is open to reconsideration. Anything can change and anything can be corrected. There is no failure, no end and nothing is broken. Everything can be set right,” he added.
Thanking his wife Jyotika, he said she was the person who held his hand and guided him forward. He also expressed gratitude to fans for their affection throughout his 28-year film journey.
Describing Scene as a different cinematic experience, he praised director Jithu Madhavan’s earlier films Romancham and Aavesham. He said the filmmaker had created a distinctive world with every film and that the new venture would offer an unexpected experience.
The film stars Suriya, Nazriya Nazim, Naslen, Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan. Produced by Suriya and Jyotika under 2D Entertainment and Zagaram Studios, it has music by Sushin Shyam and cinematography by Vineeth Augustyn.
Actor Karthi, who attended the event along with Sivakumar, recalled memorable moments from Suriya’s career and praised his versatility. Suriya also thanked Dhanush for postponing his film to accommodate the release of Scene.
The film’s music and trailer were unveiled at the event. Scene is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on November 6.
