Chennai, Nov 4:

Chennai-based petrochemical manufacturer Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) reported an 84% surge in revenue for the first half of the financial year 2026–27 (H1 FY27), supported by sustained product demand and disciplined cost management across its operational facilities.

The industrial manufacturer posted strong operating performance for both the second quarter and the half-year ending September 2026, with EBITDA and Profit Before Tax (PBT) more than doubling compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Robust plant throughput and operational efficiencies helped offset wider macroeconomic and raw material price pressures.

Mr. Ashwin Muthiah, Vice Chairman – TPL and Founder Chairman, AM International, Singapore said: “We have delivered a good and notable performance this quarter, with both revenue and profitability recording more than two-fold growth over the corresponding period last year. This reflects our ability to navigate a challenging macroeconomic environment through continuous operational improvement, cost discipline and a sharper focus on meeting customer requirements.”

He added: “Our focus on sustainable products and carbon-neutral manufacturing will remain central to our long-term growth strategy and our efforts to build a more competitive and future-ready business.”
