Chennai, Nov 5:
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Wednesday addressed school students at the TVK education awards ceremony held at the RK Convention Centre in Neelankarai, urging them to steer clear of social evils, stay confident, and build distinct identities.
Interacting with the students, the Chief Minister remarked that he was attending not as an executive holding high office, but as an elder brother. “I have not come to this award function to talk politics or seek votes,” Vijay said. “Shape your life into something you truly love; your parents depend on you. I depend on you. This society depends on you. The entire Tamil Nadu has faith in you.”
Encouraging youth to stay resilient amid hurdles, he added: “All students should develop your own individuality. If there are efforts being made to stop you, it means that you are going to win. Your elder brother has come here to do what is necessary for you. Do not go anywhere near corruption or drugs. Do not fall slave to any wrongdoing. If you stay healthy and well, those around you will also be well. This bond will continue forever. Good things will happen, victory is certain, remain confident.”
