Chennai: Under the auspices of Vidiyal Charitable Trust and The Dawn cultural and social association, a lecture programme will be organised on the 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore on 27 October, at 6 pm.
Justice S Jagadeesan will preside and present cash awards and certificates to the winners of the inter collegiate oratorical competition organised by VCT and The Dawn, a press release said.
Kumar Ananthan, Tirupur Krishnan, A Pichai and S Kulandaisamy will speak on the occasion.
Musician Jawahar will play Bulbulthara on Gandhi Bhajan and Bharathiar songs.
