Udhaya’s Utharavu Maharaj, which has been in the making for a long time, will finally hit the screens 16 November.
A psycho-comedy thriller, the movie is directed by Asif Kuraishi. Priyanka Thimmesh plays the heroine.
Udhaya says the film is his best to date. “I have four different looks in the film and I was floored when Asif narrated the script to me. It was so compelling that I decided to bankroll the project myself.”
He thanked his good friends in the industry who agreed to be part of the film.
Utharavu Maharaja is a gripping entertainer. There are several elements in the movie which audience will love, Udhaya said, and added, “All credit to my director, who executed things well on screen.”
