New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced that its scooter sales have now crossed the 25 million milestone figure.
From achieving 10 million sales mark in 13 years, Honda added the additional 10 million customers in the next three years. The next five million were added within one year, a release stated.
The segment contributed to only 10 per cent in 2001 while currently it is 32 per cent.
