Members of Rajeshwari Nagar Residents Welfare Association represented by its president Diwakar, vice presidents Chandrasekar and Kumarasamy, secretary S S Anas, joint secretary N Ravi Kumar, treasurer Chandrashekhar, office-bearers and other association members, jointly arranged and organised relief materials worth Rs 3,50,000 for cyclone Gaja-affected people and distributed in Vettaikaraniruppu village of Nagapattinam district.
A press release said S Seenu Durai, Santosh Chaliya, Venkatesan, Kanagaraj contributed most of the materials.
“These were distributed by the association’s office-bearers and Seenu Durai in the village,” the release added.
