Chennai: A young mother passed away weeks after she delivered a child, under mysterious circumstances.
According to the police, Vasanthi (23), wife of Govind, lived in Thilagar Nagar, Virugambakkam.
The couple already has a two-year-old child and 21 days ago, Vasanthi had delivered a newborn at Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children, Egmore.
Govind worked as a security guard at a private company. Yesterday, Vasanthi suffered severe bleeding and was rushed to Government Kilpauk Hospital where she passed away. Police registered a case of suspicious death and sent her body for post mortem.
