Kanyakumari: In what could be termed a harrowing incident, a man in Etttrakodu, Tamilnadu, committed suicide after hurling acid at a women on Friday.

According to the police, the young widow had refused to marry him saying that she was focused on raising her two daughters. This angered by this, the man (29) threw acid at her.

She suffered injuries all over her body and was rushed to the hospital by her neighbours. The police were on the look out for the man, but he consumed poison and died at a hospital on Friday, police said.
