Bengaluru: “They have no sense about religion. See how much they lie, father is a Muslim, mother a Christian, son is Brahmin. How did it come? You cannot get such hybrid breed in any laboratory in the world, it is available in our country’s Congress laboratory only,” said Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde targeting Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday.
The Union Minister who is known for courting controversies very often slammed Rahul for his repeated allegations against Narendra Modi over the Rafale deal. “Rahul Gandhi these days is uttering Rafale, Rafale… he doesn’t know how many letters are there, he doesn’t know the spelling. He thinks Rafale is a three wheeled cycle,” he slammed.
Speaking at an event in Uttara Kannada district, Hegde called Rahul Gandhi a hybrid breed and that his family has no sense of religion.
Hegdes comments target the puja conducted by Rahul Gandhi on the ghats of the Sarovar lake in Pushkar during the poll campaign, where he said his caste was Duttatreya and that he was a Kashmiri Brahmin.
The Union minister was in the news a few days ago after he said at an event at Madikeri that a hand that touches a Hindu girl’s body should not be there. Again, earlier this week, Hegde referred to Karnataka Congress president Dinesh Gundu Rao as a guy who ran behind a Muslim lady.
In response to these earlier comments by Hegde, Rahul Gandhi had said, he is an embarrassment to every Indian and was unfit to be a Union minister and needs to be sacked.
