Chennai: Days after actor-dirtector T Rajhender’s son Simbu came out with a video song hailing rationalist leader Periyar, his younger brother Kuralarasan converted to Islam here yesterday.
At a religious ceremony held at a mosque on Anna Salai, Kuralarasan was solemnised to Islam by priests at the mosque in the presence of his father T Rajhender and his mother Usha.
Kuralarasan, who acted as child artiste in TR’s films in 1990s, made his debut as music composer with Simbu’s film Idhu Namma Aalu.
