Chennai: P Sugendhiran’s stellar knock of 100 paved the way for his team, Egmore RC, to achieve a six-wicket win over Sical RC in the TNCA Lower Division League.
Set to chase 193, Egmore RC reached the target with six wickets remaining and 17 overs to spare. Apart from the centurion, R Naresh contributed 60 to the winning cause.
In another low-scoring match, Jupiter Sports Club’s C Sarath Kumar did the star turn taking six wickets for 25 runs to bowl his team to a 21-run win over Twentieth Century Club.
