
Chennai: Tamilnadu Kalachara Paathukapu Peravai lodged a complaint at the Commissioner’s Office at Vepery this morning against actress Oviya and 90 ML film director Anita Udeep.
The complaint letter alleged that the movie was ‘vulgar’ and supported the use of substance abuse. The movie also had intimate scenes and offensive dialogues and that the actress and director must be arrested, the letter stated.

The is not the first time the film has received a backlash since its release.
On Monday, Indian National League Party’s State Women’s Wing chief Aarifa Razak lodged a complaint against the film and its crew with the city Police Commissioner. In addition to arresting the film’s cast and its director, Aarifa has also called for a ban on the film.
An FIR is yet to be registered on the complaint, reports said.
