Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala police arrested a 30-year-old man yesterday on the charges of harassing a Delhi-based woman pilot at the international airport.
According to media reports, Unnikrishnan, a Thiruvananthapuram resident, allegedly made sexually coloured comments on the woman co-pilot of a public carrier while she was waiting for her vehicle at the airport premises on Friday. The man had made the comments sitting inside his car and immediately drove away the vehicle. The woman had noted down the car’s number.
Based on the complaint forwarded by the airport manager and after preliminary investigation, the police arrested. The accused was drunk when the incident happened said police reports. Further investigation is on
The case has been registered against the accused under Section 354A (making sexually coloured remarks) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the police added.
