Rameswaram: Tension prevailed at Rameswaram railway station yesterday after the officials received bomb threat call. However, it turned out to be a hoax.
According to media reports, the police made a thorough search and announced that the call was a hoax. On Monday night, the station officials received an anonymous phone call saying that bomb has been planted there.
Railway Protection Force personnel and sniffer dogs carried out the investigation and found no explosive.
