Chennai: RS Mokit Hariharan (136) and R Yash (118) smashed centuries to help Kancheepuram post 390 for seven declared against Nagapattinam in the TNCA Inter-Districts Under-19 match at the Alagu Jothi Academy Ground in Nagapattinam on Monday.
Batting first, Mokit and Yash took the attack to the opposition. While Mokit struck 14 boundaries and two maximums during his knock, Yash hit 16 fours. After a tired day on the field, Nagapattinam was 46 for two at stumps. In another match at the PSG IMS A Ground in Coimbatore, ND Hari Shankar (105*) scored a ton as Coimbatore made 206 for two in response to Tirupur’s total of 81 all-out.
