Chennai: A technician was severely injured at the shooting spot of Vijay’s upcoming film near here today when a focus light fell on him from above. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital.
According to reports, the accident occurred this morning and shooting was cancelled for some time. The yet untitled movie, directed by Atlee, also features Nayanthara, Yogi Babu and Anandharaj among others. Music is by A R Rahman. Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, it is all set for release this Deepavali.
It is a sport-centric film and Vijay plays a football coach. There are rumours that Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan plays a baddie in the movie and he appears towards the climax.
