Director Venkat Prabhu’s political thriller Maanadu is all set to begin soon. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the movie stars Simbu in the lead.
The movie will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, editing by Praveen KL and cinematography by Ekambaram. Kalyani Priyadarshan is the heroine in the film and the buzz is that Venkat Prabhu has also roped in veteran director Bharathiraja for an important role.
Sources say the makers are planning to begin the shoot in Malaysia. Simbu is currently busy with Hansika starrer Maha and will work in Tamil remake of Mufti.
