Chennai: TiE Chennai has appointed CK Ranganathan, the chairman and MD of CavinKare, as its new president. He will head the new 11-member governing council that will charter new entrepreneurial initiatives at chapter.
Arun Natarajan, founder of Venture intelligence, takes over as vice president, said the release.
CK Ranganathan, also called CKR, has already set about new initiatives that would benefit the Tamilnadu entrepreneur ecosystem, said a release.
“My success at Cavin Kare, I purely attribute it to the skills I learnt and the knowledge I acquired. An entrepreneur needs to invest in themselves and that’s the mandate I will like to take forward,” said Ck Ranganathan.
The release also stated that TiE Chennai has already rolled out a financial literacy program for business owners to increase their financial acumen. Other initiatives to be rolled out include ‘Shadowing a CEO’, programme on ‘Strategy Essentials for business owners’ are in the pipe line.
TiE Chennai is the second largest chapter in India and has over 750 entrepreneur members in its fold.
