Chennai: A centre median is being raised at Medavakkam Main Road, between Kumaran theater and Oil Mill bus stop.
Though the road between Vanuvampet and Oil Mill bus stop was re-laid a couple of months ago, the aforementioned stretch was not.
“The road is already narrow, as the sides have been encroached by shops, and the same is being used for parking two-wheelers. The stretch has become a bottle neck road and this results in accumulation of traffic in the busy road. We find it difficult to drive in the road as it is damaged and muddy,” rue commuters when asked about the situation.
