Chennai: The Home Department has issued promotions and postings to 104 police inspectors.
A press release said, K P Ganesan, Inspector of police, High Court, Law and Order police station has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) (category-I), District Crime Branch, Kaniyakumari.
C Subramanian, Inspector of Police, Law and Order Police station, Valsaravakkam, has been posted as DSP, District Crime Branch, Nilgiris District.
R Frank D Ruban, Inspector of Police, Law and Order, MGR Nagar has been promoted as Assistant Commissioner of police, OCIU, CBCID, Tirunelveli city,
M S Bhaskar, Inspector of Police, Royapettah, Law and Order is now posted as Assistant Commissioner, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police.
M Royappan Yesunesan, Inspector of Police, Crime, Nandambakkam Police Station has been promoted as Assistant Commissioner, Anti-Dowry Cell, Greater Chennai Police.
Several other Inspectors from Dindigul, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Kanyakumari and Ramapuram and other places have been promoted.
