Chennai: M V Hospital for Diabetes, Royapuram signed an MoU with Cario University, Egypt to conduct a three-week long diabetic foot salvage fellowship for doctors from the entire middle east.
The MoU was exchanged between M V Hospital for Diabetes head and chief diabetoligst, Dr Vijay Viswanathan and Cario University professor of vascular and endovascular surgery, Mohammed Sharkawy here recently.
The fellowship aims to improve the skills of doctors in preventing amputations due to diabetes, said Dr Vijay Viswanathan.
