Chennai: Four people including a small screen actress were arrested for the murder of a junior artiste in Kolathur.
Sources said Ravi (38), native of Madurai was a junior artiste. He was residing in Korattur where he came in contact with Devi (42), a serial actress.
”Devi had moved to Rajamangalam along with her family and she had refused to talk to Ravi after that. Meanwhile, Ravi tried to renew his relationship with her. Two days ago, Ravi had come to Devi’s sister Lakshmi’s house in Kolathur and picked up a quarrel with the family members. Devi joined them and it turned into fisticuffs,” sources add.
Devi, Lakshmi and their husbands reportedly attacked Ravi in which he died on the spot. Police rushed to the place and arrested all the four. Further investigation is on.
