Mumbai: Speculations are doing the rounds in Bollywood as to how could the Bachchans, otherwise known to be very particular about the need to maintain social distancing, be infected with the contagious Covid-19.
While some state that they contracted the virus from their staff members, others say the Bachchans got the infection from a dubbing studio, as Abhishek Bachchan had, just a few days back, dubbed for his web series, ‘Breathe: Into the Shadow’.
Amitabh Bachchan, son Abishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya, tested positive for coronavirus infection recently.
While Amitabh and Abhishek are still in hospital, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are in their home. “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayer,” shared Abhishek.
He added: “My father and I remain in hospital till the doctors decide otherwise. Everyone please remain cautious and safe. Please follow all rules!”
Amitabh posted, “…to them that have expressed their concern, their prayers and their wishes for Abhishek Aishwarya Aaradhya and me .. my unending gratitude and love ..❤️”
He added: “It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me .. I put my hands together and say ..? Thank you for your eternal love and affection.”
