Chennai: “DMK president M K Stalin has condemned attacks on temples because he has understood the importance of Hindus’ votes. If the AIADMK doesn’t wake up, it would face a huge defeat (in polls),” said senior BJP leader C P Radhakrishnan.
Speaking to the media in Coimbatore, he said, “the State government is lethargic in the issue of attack on temples. This is strongly condemnable”.
He said that the government has not allowed the police department to act freely in the issue. “Amman statue was damaged in three places. The claim that it was done by a mentally unsound persons is not acceptable,” he added.
He said that the AIADMK government is now doing the past mistake of the DMK and should immediately take action against the wrongdoers.
