Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Central Crime Branch (CCB), which is probing the Sandalwood drugs case, has conducted searches at Vivek Oberoi’s brother-in-law Aditya Alva’s house in Bengaluru.

Sandeep Patil, Central Crime Branch (CCB), Joint Commissioner, said today, ‘Search being conducted at Aditya Alva’s – son of former Minister Jeevaraj Alva – house in connection with the ongoing investigation in the drug case in the State.’

Aditya is among the 12 accused in the Sandalwood drug scandal that has rattled the State.

The search comes a day after Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi, arrested last week in the case, was remanded to 14 days judicial custody by a court in Bengaluru.

Actress Sanjana Galrani has also been arrested after a search in her house.
