New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare today said India has managed to conduct 13.80 lakh tests in the past 24 hours.
This is the highest number of tests conducted in a single day so far. ‘India climbs another historic peak of more than 13 lakh tests. More than 13.80 lakh tests done in the last 24 hours,’ Health Ministry tweeted.
The Ministry said 75 per cent of the new coronavirus cases in India are concentrated in 10 States and Union Territories.
It also said that 10 States and UTs are reporting 74 per cent of new recoveries. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are among States reporting higher number of recoveries and new Covid-19 cases, it said.
