Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has reserved its order in the matter pertaining to actress Kangana Ranaut’s petition, filed against the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
The petition was filed after the civic body demolished parts of her office citing it as ‘illegal’. After all the concerned parties had filed their written submission, the hearing was concluded, post which the HC reserved the order.
Kangana had alleged that the demolition was a counterattack to the tweets exchanged between her and Shiv Sena chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut after her criticism of the Maharashtra government and Mumbai police.
The civic body and Raut had refuted the actor’s claims, arguing that the demolition was carried out after 14 unauthorised additions and alterations which were not as per sanctioned plans were detected in the bungalow on 5 September.
