Chennai: Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will campaign in Tamilnadu ahead of the Assembly elections.
TNCC president K S Azhagiri has said that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi would campaign for the party candidates in Tamilnadu on 3 April.
Sources said the plan of Sonia is yet to be finalised and will be made known soon.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was in Tamilnadu on Sunday, it may be recalled.
He slammed the BJP and the RSS and said Tamilnadu has to be run from Tamil Nadu and not from Delhi.
Rahul assured that his party and DMK will never compromise on the ideologies that were against the interests of Tamils and Tamilnadu.
Addressing an election meeting in the city to canvass votes for the candidates of the DMK-Congress combine, he asserted that the Congress and the DMK will never compromise on the ideologies that were against the interests of Tamils and Tamilnadu.
