Chennai: In celebration of Taiwan’s 110th National Day, Industrial Ministers of four southern Indian States, namely Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana, have been enthusiastically attracting investments from Taiwan.
As the supply chain is under restructure and the EVera is approaching, South India, considering its potential in domestic and export markets, should be an ideal location for Taiwan investors to explore business opportunities.
Ben Wang, head of TECC, has led a delegation touring the southern Indian states on State governments’ invitations in less than one-year time with the aim to search for opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the visits, the TECC team met with Chief Ministers, attended economic and trade roundtable conferences and was given guided tours to industrial parks.
Taiwan as the world leader in semiconductor manufacturing was approached by leaders from industry and government worldwide seeking help to alleviate shortage in semiconductor supply.
