Chennai: Union Minister of State L Murugan has urged the Tamilnadu police to improve the security cover being provided to BJP leaders in the State.
Speaking to reporters after visiting the party office where a petrol bomb attack happened on Friday, Murugan said apart from arresting those behind the attack, the conspiracy must also be unearthed.
‘Are there terrorists or extremists behind this attack? Is this a beginning of such attacks? These have to be investigated,’ he said.
‘Such condemnable action under the cover of night shows failure on the part of the state government. These tactics of threat will not work to stop the brave âkaryakartasâ (workers) to serve the people of Tamilnadu,’ Murugan said.
